Brilliant calette

The lowest point of the diamond, also called “small Facet". In the past, a pointed surface was often polished, but today a tiny surface is often polished instead of a point – the culet. This can help prevent tension or reduce cracks in inclusions. However, a culet that is too large reduces brilliance.
