Glashütte Original presents "Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date" in plasma violet and fusion lime

For Glashütte Original, the "Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date" line is a playground for bold colors. The new duo demonstrates this once again. The vibrant colors blend seamlessly with the line's signature retro shapes, even in these limited special editions.

The “Seventies” design meets two of the most trendy colors: Plasma Violet and Fusion Lime adorn the dial squares with rounded corners.

The color names intentionally leave room for interpretation. "Plasma" describes an intense purple, while "Fusion" stands for a light yellow-green. Since their nuances change depending on the light and perspective, the "actual" color of the dials is in the eye of the beholder.

Undoubtedly, both colors have absolute eye-catching potential and are intended to symbolize a future in which the real and digital worlds go hand in hand.

The lacquered dials of the two models, each limited to 100 pieces, are produced in the in-house Dial manufacture by Glashütte Original, which officially opened in June 2025.

A velvety matte surface texture gives the vibrant colors a sophisticated finish, making them versatile and wearable. The two subdials feature a black galvanized vinyl record decor, color-coordinated with the Panorama Date at 6 o'clock.

The faces in plasma violet and fusion lime are framed by a polished and satin-finished stainless steel case measuring 40 × 40 millimeters and water-resistant to 10 bar.

Either a matte black rubber strap or a metal strap with a fine adjustment clasp ensures a secure hold.

The pacesetter of the “Seventies”

Inside the retro chronograph ticks the in-house 37-02 self-winding caliber with a flyback function and a 70-hour power reserve. It is handcrafted, finished, and regulated in the brand's workshops. On the reverse, the sapphire crystal case back offers a glimpse into the mechanical heart of the movement, which boasts not only precision but also refinements: These include striped finishing on the Glashütte three-quarter plate, a skeletonized rotor with the double-G symbol, beveled and polished edges, and blued screws.
