Chatons

Chatons are small versions, mostly made of Gold, Platinum or ruby, into which bearing stones (rubies) are inserted. They are placed in the Circuit board or Bridge The movement is screwed or pressed in place. This used to protect the delicate jewels and allow for their replacement. Today, Chatons Above all, they are a sign of classic watchmaking craftsmanship and the highest level of refinement. In high-quality movements, they are often screwed in and contribute to the aesthetic enhancement.
