For collectors, for summer, for hats – Studio Underd0g presents new leather straps
The relatively new British brand Studio Underd0g has gained recognition in part due to the delicate color schemes of its dials, which have even inspired industry giants such as H. Moser & Cie. to collaborate with the brand.
A keen sense of the zeitgeist, as well as an eye for both aesthetic and functional details, is once again evident in the latest creation from the British team at Studio Underd0g: Just in time for the start of spring—or April Fools’ Day?—they are unveiling three new watch straps designed to meet the needs of today’s enthusiastic watch enthusiasts, all three initially available in a distinguished plum shade.

The “Triple-Wrister” is the logical next step in wearing watches on both wrists. It spares the collector the trouble of deciding which of his watches best suits the day and his outfit, and allows him to showcase up to three matching or contrasting pieces from his collection—or rather, six.

The “Cap Strap” places you in the tradition of British politeness and decorum. It is rightly considered improper to glance at your wristwatch during a conversation, as it makes you appear either rushed or even bored. This applies just as much to casual attire as it does to evening wear. But if you want to keep an eye on the time—and your watch—you can now attach it to the brim of your baseball cap using a Velcro strap, thereby maintaining decorum and politeness at all times.

The elongated “Bicep Strap” serves a similar purpose. In the summer—and especially at the beach—when short-sleeved shirts are the norm, the watch can no longer be discreetly hidden from prying eyes beneath the cuff. To address this, Studio Underdog has created a way to move the attachment point far up the arm. The watch remains hidden under the T-shirt sleeve until it is pulled back for a quick glance—a glance at the watch, of course.
These three handy summer ribbons are now available for order; prices are expected to be announced after April 1.
