G-Shock and Baby-G Introduce New Camouflage Models

The striking camouflage design, which was first introduced in March with the “GA-2100CM,” is now being carried over to other eye-catching models from Casio G-Shock and Baby-G—contrary to the original concept behind camouflage.

Camouflage (from the French *camoufler* = to conceal, to hide) generally refers to the act of concealing or disguising oneself—that is, the deliberate adaptation of colors, patterns, shapes, or behavior in order to avoid detection.

G-Shock and Baby-G turn this principle on its head. Whether it’s color styles or gold interpretations—the collection showcases G-Shock’s toughness through bold color palettes.

As part of the “Out-of-Pattern” campaign, camouflage is being completely reimagined. With bold colors, high-contrast designs, and an urban aesthetic, the result is a look that breaks away from classic camouflage and is designed to be noticed.

For observant viewers, the design also includes a little Easter egg: On select models, the designers have subtly incorporated the letter “G” into the camouflage pattern.

The “Camo and Gold” models feature dark, monochromatic tones and gold accents—ranging from subtle to bold. (MSRP: €129–259)

The “GA-V01” models reinterpret the camouflage look with a significantly more progressive design language. The series’ striking silhouette is paired with eye-catching colors in green, pink, and violet-blue. (MSRP: €189)

In its new camouflage versions, the Baby-G BG-169 combines its signature compact design and dial protectors with a color palette that was all the rage at the turn of the millennium, creating a playful Y2K-inspired streetwear look. (MSRP: €119 or €129)
