Bremont Appoints Daniel Bing as Chief Marketing Officer
Bremont has appointed Daniel Bing as Chief Marketing Officer. The luxury marketing specialist will oversee the British watchmaker’s global brand and communications strategy and is tasked with supporting its international expansion.
From Vacheron Constantin to Bremont
Bing has more than 20 years of experience in international luxury marketing. Most recently, he served as Marketing Director for the Americas at Vacheron Constantin. In that role, his responsibilities included engaging high-net-worth private clients, developing the CRM strategy, establishing cultural partnerships, overseeing boutique openings, and managing integrated campaigns. Prior to that, he spent about a decade in the marketing department at the British men’s fashion house Alfred Dunhill.
At Bremont, Bing will lead the global marketing strategy, brand communication, and customer engagement. He brings with him experience from two distinct sectors of the luxury market: Swiss haute horlogerie and a long-established British brand. Added to this is his market knowledge in the U.S. and the U.K.—the two countries that Bremont itself identifies as particularly important for its future development.
Marketing is intended to better convey the essence of the manufactory
CEO Davide Cerrato sees this appointment primarily as an opportunity to raise the profile of Bremont’s manufacturing expertise. At the heart of this effort is “The Wing,” the manufacturing facility that opened in 2021 in Henley-on-Thames, England. The approximately 3,250-square-meter site brings together development, production, and assembly and is a key component of the brand’s positioning as a British watchmaker.
The appointment comes at a time when Bremont is expanding its international presence while further sharpening the brand’s profile. The fact that the marketing leadership position is being filled by a manager who is familiar with both the communications of an established Swiss watchmaker and the British luxury market makes this more than just a routine personnel change.
For Bremont, it will be crucial to convey its manufacturing, technical expertise, and British heritage in a way that is understandable and appealing across different markets. Bing will thus play a central role at the intersection of product, brand, and international growth.
