Korloff Korlove: The Heart from Every Perspective

In the Korlove collection, Korloff lends the heart motif a sense of spatial depth. Three-dimensional hearts, varying shades of gold, and the alternation between white and black diamonds characterize the rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. The pendants, in particular, are deliberately designed to be viewed from multiple angles.

A heart that changes with movement

A heart-shaped pendant rarely lies still against the skin. It rotates, tilts, and catches the light differently with every movement. Korlove embraces this everyday quality: The pendants have no defined front or back. Their contours and curved surfaces extend the shape all the way around, so that the eye isn’t limited to a single view.

This gives the familiar symbol a more tangible form. Smooth gold surfaces highlight its curves, while diamond accents emphasize the surface. Depending on the design, the heart appears soft and understated or distinctly more graphic—especially where black and white stones meet.

Five Hearts on the Ring

A recurring motif is rings featuring five hearts. Their side-by-side arrangement creates a rhythm that continues around the finger. The collection also features rings with single heart motifs, heart-shaped necklace pendants, hoop earrings, and sculpturally shaped bangles. In this way, the collection applies the same concept to different proportions and ways of wearing the pieces.

Combining Gold Tones and Diamonds

The jewelry is available in rose, white, and yellow gold. In addition to designs featuring white or black diamonds, there are also versions without a full diamond setting. Different ring styles can be worn individually or combined with one another. Even the color of the gold and the distribution of the stones alone can alter the character of an arrangement.

According to Korloff, a small black diamond is incorporated into every piece of jewelry in the collection. It references the 88-carat black Korloff diamond, which has shaped the house’s identity. This detail is intentionally understated and connects even the lighter designs—which feature predominantly white diamonds—to this history.

Korloff was founded in Paris in 1978.

The combination of striking shapes and black diamonds remains a defining element of the brand’s design philosophy to this day—at Korlove, it takes the form of a particularly familiar symbol.
