2026 Glasbach Race: Debut of the New Ruhla Chronograph

Since 2024, the Pointtec brand Ruhla has been a sponsor of the “ADAC Glasbach” hill climb, which has been a mainstay of international motorsports for decades.

The race took place on June 13 and 14, 2026, on one of Europe’s most modern hill climb courses. On the historic course between Steinbach and Glasbachstein in the Thuringian Forest, the participants in the FIA European Hill Climb Championship once again delivered thrilling motorsport action and captivated numerous spectators.

Christian Merli secured the overall victory in his Nova NP 01-2 C Cosworth. In his fastest run, he completed the approximately five-kilometer course in 1:58.139 minutes—at an impressive average speed of 161 km/h.

The watch manufacturer Pointtec produces its watches just a few kilometers from the racetrack, including models from the Ruhla brand. The new “Glasbachrennen Flyback” chronograph was unveiled for the first time during the awards ceremony.
