Heart rate monitoring with the G-Lide from G-SHOCK

The new “GBX-H5600” from G-SHOCK is the first “G-LIDE” model to feature a heart rate monitor, combining the latest features with the brand’s signature durability.

Since their launch in 1983, G-SHOCK watches have continuously evolved in terms of functionality, construction, and design, while remaining true to their rugged DNA.

The “G-LIDE” series is designed specifically for extreme sports enthusiasts and is particularly popular among water sports enthusiasts—thanks to its smart features, such as tide and moon phase displays, as well as its shock resistance and water resistance up to 20 bar.

Heart rate monitor for even better training insights

The new “GBX-H5600” is the first model to feature a heart rate monitor and an MIP display. Thanks to its optical heart rate sensor and accelerometer, it allows for real-time monitoring of your workout and tracks distance, calories burned, and other fitness data.

The app then allows you to analyze the four different activities: running, walking, gym workouts, and interval training. The data collected by the sensors is converted into valuable training insights using scientifically proven algorithms from Polar Electro, a leading global provider of wearable sports and health technology. The results can be conveniently viewed in the Casio Watches smartphone app and used to optimize your performance.

MIP LCD: Flexible digital display

The display features a high-resolution, high-contrast MIP (Memory-in-Pixel) LCD that ensures clear readability from any angle, even in direct sunlight or in low-light outdoor conditions.

The high-resolution full-dot display offers four time modes that can be selected with the push of a button. In addition, the font on the main display can be changed from “Standard” to “Classic” via the app to display the traditional 7-segment display.

A stylish look thanks to bio-based materials

The bezel is made of translucent resin, offering a view into the case. The black “GBX-H5600-1ER” features a matching strap made of bio-based resin, while the “GBX-H5600-2ER” is paired with a navy blue strap made of bio-based resin. Thus, the resin components of the bezel, case, and strap are made from sustainable raw materials.
