And yet—or perhaps precisely because of this—so-called dress watches are currently enjoying immense popularity. Simple elegance persists unwaveringly in a world of luminous displays—at least on the wrist.

With its velvet brown dial with a soft gradient, the new, slim "29er Casual" offers sporty elegance and everyday comfort. For a streamlined look, Mühle-Glashütte omitted the bezel that usually adorns the "29er" models. Inside, the slim SW 300-1 automatic movement, heavily modified by Mühle-Glashütte, works. Its slim 3.6 millimeters thick allows it to slip comfortably under any blouse or shirt cuff. (RRP €1,890)

This award-winning Sternglas classic is available in 38 and 42 millimeter sizes, so every watch lover can find the perfect model for their wrist. Crafted from robust 316L stainless steel with a color-resistant PVD bronze coating, the "Naos Automatic Alabaster Bronze" is extremely durable.
