Time to Watches - new location for over 70 independent watch exhibitors
Almost secretly, the "small" Time to Watches has carved out a firm place for itself in the Geneva watch spring in the shadow of the "overpowering" Watches & Wonders. With consequences.
While the hotspot for independents was previously held at the HEAD Genève (Geneva School of Art and Design) in the city centre of Geneva, the 5th edition will take place in the immediate vicinity of Watches & Wonders (the successor event to the Richemont Group's Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie) within walking distance.
The venue from 1 to 6 April is the historic Villa Sarasin next to Palexpo, where the W&W takes place. Time to Watches is also open to the public for the entire duration of the event. Cost: CHF 20 for a day ticket or CHF 35 for all days.
"The participating brands have different backgrounds - in terms of nationality, positioning and vision. But they all share the same motto: move, create, disrupt. These free spirits invite visitors to immerse themselves in a world that defies convention, breaks boundaries and is ahead of its time. To spark an idea, you need a pinch of craziness, a hint of intuition and the courage to realise it. True watch lovers will appreciate the journey," promises Christian Wipfli, founder and director of Time to Watches.
