Brusi: Discover the art of goldsmithing from Milan

The family business behind the Brusi brand is dedicated to the beauty of nature with its jewelry and likes to focus on small, individual capsule collections – a way to guarantee absolute quality.

Jewelry aesthetics from nature

The Brusi story began in the 1930s with a small jewelry store and goldsmith shop in Milan. Business was so successful that the goldsmith shop also grew, producing its own collections and selling them throughout Italy. This led to the creation of Brusi as a separate brand in 1984. The name is a combination of the first names of the two Grüner brothers: Bruno and Rosi. Brusi remains a family business today, run by the three siblings, Andrea, Paola, and Simone, in the third generation.

Brusi's Milanese studio now creates unique and refined pieces of jewelry, which the family calls "natural jewelry." What distinguishes this jewelry is a deliberately asymmetrical and organic style, paired with neutral colors.

The goldsmith family agrees: The subtle tones of colorless gemstones are often underestimated. These treasures, which form the heart of the Brusi collections, are hand-selected and purchased by the family themselves, aided by their intuitive sense of beauty and passion for jewelry.

Unique custom-made jewelry

Brusi follows a unique philosophy when it comes to jewelry making: The collections are deliberately kept small, and the brand frequently releases capsule collections or special one-off pieces. Brusi jewelry is meant to be unique and remain so. Therefore, the brand also offers custom-made pieces. Quality and durability are paramount. Paola Codari explained:

Global, identical pieces of jewelry produced by the thousands represent the opposite of our concept, and we're happy to be far removed from that. We love creating small collections that bring joy to people with their beauty and quality.

Brusi places value on small collections with special quality and charisma.

Brusi for jewelers

Brusi is still something of a newcomer in Germany. The brand has just completed its second trade fair appearance at INHORGENTA and is looking to further strengthen its ties to the German market.

The family-run business offers jewelers a deep insight into Italian design and aesthetics. Each piece of jewelry is crafted in the company's own studio in Milan. The brand is happy to assist with media communications, event planning, and display materials, and enjoys engaging in dialogue with flexibility, partnership, and equality. Excellent customer service, even after the purchase, is one of the brand's strengths.
