A piece of Tutima Glashütte legend: The Flieger Automatic in bronze

The manufactory's eventful history is closely linked to aviation. Early on, both military pilots and civilian aviators favoured Tutima's timepieces, which were considered extremely reliable. It is no coincidence that the brand name is derived from the Latin "tutus", meaning "safe", "protected".

During the Geneva watch fairs, Tutima Glashütte presented the new Flieger Automatic Bronze in the exclusive setting of the Hotel Beau Rivage. An exclusive homage to the brand's aviation history. Limited to 100 pieces, each model is a unique timepiece whose bronze case develops an individual patina over time, reflecting the experiences of the wearer and the watch. The polished and satin-finished case with a diameter of 41.5 mm is not only visually appealing, but also particularly resistant to corrosion.

The dial in a gradient from dark green to matt black stands out with high-contrast hour markers, Arabic numerals and a striking zero index. The gold-plated hands with Super-LumiNova coating ensure excellent legibility, even in the dark. Another highlight is the red second hand and minute scale, which characterise the instrument-style design of the watch.

The screw-down onion crown and sapphire crystal guarantee robustness, while the Tutima 330 automatic movement delivers maximum precision. The leather strap in combination with a bronze pin buckle and a titanium back with viewing window round off the nostalgic aviation character. The Flieger Automatic Bronze is limited to 100 pieces and, at a price of €2,350, offers an exclusive piece of aeronautical history.
