The Rolex novelties 2025
The Rolex novelties 2025
We have already presented the highlight of this year's Rolex presentations in detail here: the "Land-Dweller", which is not simply a reinterpretation, but a completely new model and a genuine technical innovation.

The situation is different with the "Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II", which appears in the 2025 year with tone-on-tone characteristics. More specifically, the first ceramic dial of this model is matched to the hours of the day on the green and black disc on the bezel.

The latter was already introduced in 2022. The same applies to the crown on the left-hand side, which Rolex has not changed either. The inner workings also remain the same in the form of calibre 3285 with a 70-hour power reserve, which continues to be protected by a 40-millimetre case that is water-resistant to ten bar and is made of white gold in this new green-green version. (RRP €47,750)
With the "Oyster Perpetual" the innovations are even more straightforward and manifest themselves in the colours lavender, beige and pistachio in the sizes 28, 36 and 41 millimetres.

The proportions of the latter have been subtly adjusted and the case and Oysterclasp clasp have been slimmed down. Instead of a radiant sunburst finish, the dials have a matt surface. Behind them are the familiar calibres 223 (28 mm) and 3230 (36 and 41 mm). (RRP €5,800 to €6,650)
The 2023 newly introduced "Perpetual 1908" in 18-carat yellow gold is now available with a seven-row bracelet made entirely from this precious metal. It bears the name Settimo. The previous gold versions were secured with a leather strap.

The complete golden look perfectly realises the decidedly classic mission of this young Rolex line. The transparent back of the 39-millimetre case reveals the automatic calibre 7140 with a 66-hour power reserve, which also powers the 2023 and 204 models. (RRP €35,600)
The dial of this new "Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31" describes Rolex as a fusion of light and shadow, like a sun that casts its fiery rays into the dusk.

However, the colour can also simply be described as ombré red with a gradient to black, which is produced using the PVD process. Diamonds set sparkling accents on the bezel and dial. Yellow gold is an appropriate companion for the 31-millimetre case and the President bracelet. The tried-and-tested Calibre 2236 with a 55-hour power reserve is responsible for precision. (RRP €49,400)
The "Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona", the "GMT-Master II" and the "Sky-Dweller" also stand out with new colours and materials for their respective dials.

The "Cosmograph Daytona" is adorned with a turquoise blue lacquered face with black totalisers and combines this with shimmering yellow gold. (RRP €37,150)
The "GMT-Master II" in 18-carat Everose gold with a Cerachrom dial made of brown and black ceramic is now presented with a dial made of tiger iron, a metamorphic rock that Rolex has never used before. It is a mixture of three minerals - tiger's eye, red jasper and haematite. (RRP €50,400)
The "Sky-Dweller" again combined for the first time in the green/yellow gold combination. (RRP €55,800)
