Rolex x Bucherer: New home for new Tudor watches in Munich
Bucherer and Tudor have jointly opened the Rolex sister company's fifth monobrand boutique in Germany, the first in Munich. It follows locations in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne, and Berlin.
The Swiss jewelry chain Bucherer has also been part of Rolex since summer 2023. Just a few weeks after the takeover, the childless previous owner, Jörg Gerold Bucherer, passed away. Afterward, speculation began about how Rolex, which had always stayed out of retail matters until then, would handle its sudden global retail expertise.

Apparently, they are also using this to operate their own monobrand boutiques (also) through Bucherer itself. In Munich, this is now happening with Tudor, in a 60-square-meter space, including a champagne bar.
Rémi Corpataux, Managing Director of Tudor Germany, commented: "With the opening of the new monobrand boutique in Munich, we are now finally present in southern Germany. Munich is an important location for us that was previously missing. We are now represented in the top 5 cities in Germany, thus ensuring high visibility for Tudor. With Bucherer, we have a fantastic partner at our side who will manage this boutique."

Benjamin Lange, Managing Director of Bucherer Germany, adds: "Tudor and Bucherer have a long-standing international partnership. We are delighted to now have a joint presence in Germany with a boutique. This will allow our customers and all friends of Tudor to experience the various facets of the brand even more effectively."

And, of course, this Munich Tudor experience also includes discovering new releases. Currently, these include the "Black Bay 58" in burgundy red and the "Black Bay Chrono Carbon 25" with a carbon case.
“Black Bay 58” in burgundy red
This line is named after the year in which Tudor first introduced a diving watch water-resistant to 20 bar. Reference 7924 was also called the "Big Crown."
This new model plays with the design cues of the 1958 diver's watch and, for the first time, can also be worn on a five-row bracelet with a "T-fit" clasp for quick length adjustment. The three-row stainless steel and rubber versions are still available.

Equipped with a 39-millimeter stainless steel case that is also water-resistant to 20 bar, it is also only slightly larger than its source of inspiration.
In addition, the “Black Bay 58” features the design details of the “Submariner Ref. 79190” prototype from the 1990s.
This one featured a shiny burgundy dial with a matching bezel. It was ultimately never produced, but now revives in this new Tudor.

And all this with an inner workings that reflects the latest technology. This is the COSC- and METAS-certified in-house movement, the MT5400-U caliber, with automatic winding and a 65-hour power reserve.

Black Bay Chrono Carbon 25
In addition to diving, Tudor is also passionate about motorsports. The new "Black Bay Chrono Carbon 25," with a case entirely made of carbon fiber—including the connecting elements—and titanium pushers, represents the brand's long history of collaboration with various racing teams.

Featuring a newly designed, lightweight 42-millimeter case, the MT581 column-wheel manufacture movement with a generous 70-hour power reserve, and a look inspired by the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula 1 team, this new timepiece, limited to 2,025 pieces, is ready to launch.
