Frederique Constant presents a new "Vintage Rally Healey" trilogy

This year, it's that time again. Frederique Constant is introducing new versions of the "Vintage Rally Healey" series. And since this has only happened every two years since 2004, there are three models to choose from.

This will especially please lovers of British racing car aesthetics, as the name of the new timepiece is no coincidence, but rather a reference to the British car brand Austin-Healey, which thrilled roadster fans around the world starting in 1952 with the release of the "Healey 100." The small racing car was named after its top speed of 100 miles per hour (approximately 160 km/h).

Each of the three new “Healey” timepieces, however, has different performances, but they share the red central second hand.

The non-limited "Classics Vintage Rally Healey Automatic" is a classic three-hand watch with a 40-millimeter stainless steel case and a matte British Racing Green dial. Against this backdrop, with its white outer ring and black seconds graduation, the applied indices and hand-polished hour and minute hands—all silver-colored and fitted with white luminous material—demonstrate the precision of the internal movement. This is the FC-301 automatic caliber with a 38-hour power reserve.

The second automatic "Healey," limited to 1,888 pieces, boasts a comfortable 36-millimeter diameter for its steel case and transfers its inner precision to a blue sunburst dial, which features a date display at 6 o'clock. The color inspiration, incidentally, was the metallic blue of the 1961 Austin-Healey 3000 MKII BN7.

Applied luminous indices and hand-polished hands with luminous material always clearly indicate the exact time thanks to the FC-303 with a power reserve of 38 hours.

Both three-hand models feature a solid case back engraved with the silhouette of a motorized Austin Healey.

The chronograph in the new "Healey" trilogy also features this blue dial, framed by a navy blue flange and a 42-millimeter stainless steel case. Limited to the same number as its three-hand counterpart, this model offers a clear view through the transparent caseback of the automatic caliber FC-397 with a 62-hour power reserve.
