"Night Navigation" - Nomos Glashütte presents new Worldtimer trio
The worldtimer "Club Sport neomatik Weltzeit" from NOMOS Glassworks has unhesitatingly embarked on a fast-paced journey with its first appearance at this year's Watches & Wonders. It has just made a stop as a nominee for the "Petite Aiguille" at the prestigious Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG). And without stopping, he has now completed the next stage with three new striking colour combinations.

Robert Ahrendt (International Sales Nomos Glashütte) explains that the possibility of a wide range of colour combinations was considered right from the start of the "Club Sport neomatik Weltzeit" journey.
"With the Worldtimer, we have rethought world time. From the outset, our aim with the dial design was to create scope for a wide variety of possibilities and to expand the boundaries of how different watches can be through colours, surfaces and details. Our Worldtimer design is a canvas for factory exploration."

Robert Ahrendt is certain that this sporty and modern interpretation of the world time complication can also reach new target groups. In his eyes, world time is "one of the most beautiful and useful complications. It connects us with people, places and opportunities."

The three new "Night Navigation" models are designed to travel the world with their wearers undamaged and reliably. To this end, Nomos has designed the timepieces to be robust and comfortable to wear. In concrete terms, this means Water resistance up to ten bar, a manufacture calibre and, at 9.9 millimetres, a distinctly flat design.

The 40-millimetre stainless steel case with screw-down crown houses the DUW 3202 manufacture calibre, equipped with Nomos' own swing system, bidirectional winding rotor and a world time mechanism fully integrated into the movement. Thanks to its efficient design, the neomatik movement with a 42-hour power reserve has a height of 4.8 millimetres. It can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back.

The Worldtimer trio is equipped with a galvanised dial with a ray ship behind blue anti-reflective glass, inspired by travelling at night - hence the name "Night Navigation". Superluminova on the hour and minute hands as well as the indices in orange, turquoise and ecru ensure night-time legibility.

The three ticking globetrotters refer as "Grid" to the view of a big city at night, as "Trace" to the nocturnal glow of the glass facades of skyscrapers and as "Vector" to the instruments in a cockpit. Each version is limited to 175 pieces.

The 24-hour home time at 3 o'clock also has a two-colour design, reminiscent of the artificial horizon as an important flight instrument for pilots. The orange-coloured hand provides an additional accent.

The new "Club Sport neomatik World Time" models are worn on a metal bracelet with quick-change spring bars or on a textile strap.
