G-SHOCK launches first ring watch
Following the Casio ring watch “CRW-001-1” for the 50th anniversary of the Japanese company’s first wristwatch, a finger-sized timepiece from the Casio brand G-SHOCK is now being released.
The “DWN-5600” is more than just a stylish gadget and demonstrates the robust and multifunctional properties of a genuine G-SHOCK, even in miniature format.

This starts with the 20-bar water resistance of the 23.4 × 20 × 7.5-millimeter resin case, available in black, red, and yellow, which is the brand's smallest yet. Compared to its full-size counterpart, it measures only about a tenth of the size, yet retains the typically distinctive G-SHOCK shape.

The shock-resistant design is achieved by miniaturizing components, including the battery, and using high-density assembly technology that precisely arranges parts in a limited space.

The delicate shapes of the bezel and bracelet are precisely reproduced down to the smallest detail using an injection-molded process. The pushers, clasp, and case back are made of the same stainless steel as the larger G-SHOCK wristwatches.
The dial features a 6-digit digital LCD, identical to that of the 5600 models. It displays the time to the second and also features a calendar, LED backlight, stopwatch, and a second time zone.

Like all of the brand's resin models, the strap has holes to adjust the watch to the wearer's finger size.
The “DWN-5600” comes in a specially designed package with a G-shaped display stand.
