Eberhard & Co. presents new “Lancia HF” at the 23rd Rallylegend in San Marino

Eberhard & Co. was once again a major player at Rallylegend this year, the iconic rally event celebrating the past, present and future of motorsport, which took place from October 2nd to 5th in the Republic of San Marino.

Eberhard & Co. renewed its participation as sponsor and official timekeeper, flanked by brand ambassador Miki Biasion, two-time World Rally Champion.

Biasion thrilled the audience at the wheel of the Lancia 037 Totip 1983, which was individually designed by Eberhard & Co. – the very car with which he triumphed at the Rallye Costa Smeralda and finally established himself on the European rally stage.

The Rallylegend also provided the setting for the premiere of the new "Lancia HF" collector's watch, created from the Cooperation between Eberhard & Co. and LanciaThis model celebrates the return of the legendary HF logo – short for High Fidelity – as well as the distinctive red elephant, symbols of the sportiest soul of the Turin brand.

With the presence of Miki Biasion and the new ‘Lancia HF’, we wanted not only to pay tribute to the golden era of rallying, but also to celebrate its living legacy – that spirit which continues to inspire us and evoke emotions.”

During the four days of the event, numerous big names in rally sport took part – in addition to over 200 teams from 24 countries – including Kalle Rovanperä, Markku Alén, Stig Blomqvist, Gigi Galli with Alex Gelsomino (in memory of Ken Block), Gustavo Trelles, Armin Schwarz, François Delecour, Simon Jean Joseph, Patrick Snijers, Tony Fassina and Adartico Vudafieri.

Great attention was also paid to Simone Faggioli, the overall winner of the 103rd Pikes Peak International Hill Climb and eleven-time European champion as well as eleven-time champion of the hill climb championship.

As the first Italian to reach the top step of the podium at the legendary “Race to the Clouds”, Faggioli was awarded a “Champion V” special edition by Eberhard & Co. for his exceptional performance – in one of the most demanding races in the world.

Finally, the Maison honored the Jean-Joseph – Pivato team, winners of the Classic category, for an impressive series of top performances at the wheel of their Subaru Impreza 555 (built in 1995).
