Christ Jewelers offers nationwide gold buying services.

With the new nationwide, standardized model for buying gold in Germany and Austria, the company Christ, headquartered in Hagen, is not only about offering its customers a way to sell old treasures in a trustworthy and transparent manner.

At the same time, the company aims to contribute to sustainable jewelry consumption by purchasing gold, which is then used in its own jewelry production to create new pieces. Christ has been part of the Italian Morellato Group, which has its own fine jewelry production facilities, since February 2023.

Gold buying as part of Christ's brand strategy

 „Many customers are pleasantly surprised that Christ now also offers gold buying services and appreciate the opportunity to use this service at a trustworthy jeweler,“ explains Christ CEO Dr. Gunnar Binder.

Following its phased rollout in 2025, the service is now being implemented in all stores in Germany and Austria. They are buying genuine gold jewelry in the following alloys: 333, 375, 585, and 750 gold.

Communication takes place both through advertising at the point of sale and specifically through personal contact in the stores.

„Our colleagues actively address the topic – especially when customers hesitate about the purchase price. This often leads to a conversation about jewelry that remains unused at home,“ says Torsten Schmidt, department head at Christ.
