Watches & Wonders 2026: An Edition Marked by Growth
This year marks the seventh edition of the Watches & Wonders event, though the first two editions were held entirely online due to the pandemic. Since then, the successor to the former SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie) watch fair has grown every year. This year, 11 new brands are participating. In addition, the “In The City” program has been expanded.

Watches & Wonders Geneva is open to both industry professionals and the general public (starting April 18). Last year, the event attracted a total of over 55,000 visitors.
The city center is buzzing with excitement for the Montreux Jazz Festival
A brand-new venue on Quai Général-Guisan is opening its doors as part of an exclusive partnership with the Montreux Jazz Festival, which is curating the evening music program with live concerts in Geneva for the first time. The 600-square-meter space is open daily from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and welcomes the public by appointment.
The Watchmaking Village
The Watchmaking Village is located in the Pont de la Machine building—a bridge spanning the Rhône in downtown Geneva. In this historic 19th-century building, visitors can take introductory courses in watchmaking and learn about job profiles and career paths. The initiative is organized by the Swiss Watch Industry Employers’ Association (CP). The venue also serves as a meeting point and starting point for guided tours of the city.

The participating brands have also prepared numerous surprises throughout the week—with activities and presentations at their boutiques in the city center.
Even more “wonders” at the salon
Located on the Palexpo grounds, The LAB—with its newly redesigned space—is dedicated to innovation and cutting-edge technologies in watchmaking. Approximately 15 new startup projects were selected from 60 applications based on criteria such as innovation, relevance to the watch industry, sustainability, and social impact.

For the third consecutive year, the partnership with ECAL (Lausanne University of Art and Design) will continue. Students in the Master of Advanced Studies in Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship will present original installations that invite visitors to an immersive experience of time.

At the entrance to the salon, Le Cadran will serve as a reception and meeting area. Eight benches and four tables are arranged around a central clock tower reminiscent of a clock face—a place to rest, wait, or meet friends.
The exhibition “Wake Up!” offers a fascinating journey through the history and use of the alarm clock—from the Middle Ages to the present day. On display are timepieces, clocks, pendulum clocks, and graphic works from the collections of the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire de Genève (MAH).
