Inhorgenta highlight: Erwin Sattler
On the wall or on your desk – Erwin Sattler clocks have been ticking away at a steady pace since 1958. The clock manufacturer based near Munich focuses on designs that are straightforward and understated, both today and tomorrow – in other words, timeless. And you can wear them on your wrist too.
At Inhorgenta 2026, the Erwin Sattler manufactory showcased its expertise in combining traditional, high-precision craftsmanship with timeless design: Made in Germany.
Classica K100 II M – a question of perspective
The moon phases displayed on the “Classica K100 II M” wall clock are mirror-inverted depending on your geographical location. While the north pole of the moon is at the top when viewed from the northern hemisphere, observers in the southern hemisphere see the south pole at the top. It’s all a matter of perspective! However, the moon phases (new moon, full moon, etc.) remain identical.

The new two-part dial cleverly picks up on this effect: the moon phase display is marked with “N” and “S” and supplemented by arrows indicating its direction of travel. The moon disc with two hand-painted moons shows the corresponding moon phases in detail within the cutouts of the dial.
The calendar has also been given a facelift: the day and date displays now appear in precisely crafted cutouts on the front dial, revealing the second, deeper section with the displays.

The Classica K100 II M is available in black with polished steel hands or in a light anodized version with blued hands – each with modern Arabic numerals.

Inside the wall clock, which measures 98 x 27.5 x 11 centimeters, is the Sattler caliber 1565 with a 30-day power reserve. (RRP €13,600)
Opus K100 II – extended moon phase display
The Opus K100 II model is available with a choice of two contemporary dial designs: a black version with polished steel hands and a light anodized dial accented by blued steel hands.

A special highlight is the new moon phase display, which takes into account both the northern and southern hemispheres. This authentically reflects the different perceptions of the moon, mirroring them – a detail that is clarified by a system marked with “N” and “S” including directional information.

The anti-reflective, frameless mineral glass allows an unobstructed view of the newly developed two-piece dial. An integrated flap in the base stores the crank safely and stylishly.
Here too, the Sattler caliber 1565 (left) guarantees a power reserve of 30 days. The dimensions of the “Opus K100 II” are 96 x 25.5 x 11 centimeters. (RRP €14,800)
Lunaris II – modern elegance
The new “Lunaris II” consistently continues the high-quality design of its predecessor. The frameless glass case of the table clock remains distinctive, while the lid and base made of brushed stainless steel with hand-polished decorative grooves have been redesigned. These details lend the clock a modern elegance without changing its character.

The moon remains a central design element. Milling out the Roman hour markers and a two-part dial – in natural colors or black – create visual depth and improve readability. New skeletonized hands complement the design, while the hand-painted moon phase remains a striking feature.
The new model also offers the familiar acoustic pleasure: the passage strike marks every full hour with a clear, delicate strike on the bell. Operation remains convenient—winding, hand setting, moon phase adjustment, and regulation of the 8-day watch are clearly arranged on the back.

Measuring 23 x 16 x 8 centimeters, the Lunaris II houses the Sattler Caliber 2004 with a power reserve of eight days. (RRP €9,800)
Rotalis – for perfect movement and presentation
The case of the Rotalis 2 watch winder, limited to 20 pieces, is made of natural walnut and stylishly displays up to two watches – even when they are not being worn. It can be powered by battery or mains connection and has an integrated database with over 12,000 watch models.

It is controlled via smartphone, tablet, or computer. Precision ball bearings ensure virtually silent operation, so that the watch winder is not perceived as disruptive even in quiet rooms. It measures 17 x 27 x 22 centimeters. (RRP €3,800)

For watch enthusiasts who find that the two spaces offered by the Rotalis 2 are not enough, the Rotalis 24 provides sufficient space for their entire collection of automatic watches. The 24 precision watch winders can be programmed individually via Wi-Fi. On request, the XXL watch winder can be connected to the in-house alarm system. New features include indirect, dimmable case lighting and the “Navis Quarz” ship’s clock with milled and backlit indices, flanked by a barometer and thermometer.

Equipped with three-layer security spy glass, the windows can only be opened electrically after authentication via a smart interface or fingerprint scanner. The Rotalis 24 measures 88.5 (127 with the window extended) x 120 x 20 centimeters. (RRP €112,500)

Classica Medium Limited – Erwin Sattler for the wrist
Erwin Sattler is also a master of wristwatchmaking. The latest example is the “Classica Medium Limited,” limited to 50 pieces, with a champagne-bronze dial with a sunburst finish.

The 39-millimeter stainless steel case, water-resistant to 5 bar, houses the STP 1-21 automatic caliber with a 44-hour power reserve. The three-hand watch comes with two leather straps. (RRP €4,250)

The foundation stone for today’s Erwin Sattler clock and watch manufacturing company was laid in 1958 by the company’s founder and namesake Erwin Sattler and his wife Viola. The company is still family-owned today and is managed by Stephanie Sattler-Rick, the daughter of Erwin and Viola Sattler.
