To complement this year’s events at Geneva Watch & Jewellery Week, a pop-up exhibition will round out the program in Geneva: From April 13 to 17, select French jewelry houses will showcase their collections in the suites on the fifth floor of the Hôtel Président Wilson.

The French Jewelry Selection

Location: Hôtel Président Wilson, in the fifth-floor suites

Dates: April 13–17

The Brunette and the Blonde

The compact format brings together international buyers, distributors, and trade media in a concentrated setting and offers a focused look at current trends in French jewelry design—from established houses to independent brands.

The exhibitors:

Akillis – Copin – Djula – La Brune & La Blonde – Marie Mas – Mellerio – Morganne Bello – Nouvel Héritage – Statement – Viltier

The selection brings together diverse perspectives within the French jewelry scene. Brands like Akillis are known for a graphic, almost architectural design language featuring clean lines and unisex styles, while houses like Copin translate their historical heritage into minimalist, precise forms.

Djula represents a younger, internationally established perspective that combines diamond jewelry with an urban, slightly rebellious glamour. La Brune & La Blonde, on the other hand, consistently focuses on showcasing the diamond itself—often without a traditional setting, appearing to float almost weightlessly on the skin.

Brands such as Marie Mas, whose jewelry is characterized by movement and technical sophistication, or Viltier, which works with unusual settings and a modern design language, take a more conceptual approach. The range is complemented by houses such as Mellerio and Morganne Bello, which offer contemporary interpretations of classic codes, gemstones, and Parisian design traditions.

Together, the brands present not so much a uniform style as a carefully curated spectrum—ranging from heritage and design to conceptual innovation within French joaillerie.
