Geneva Watch Week 2026: Discover the latest watches at Geneva’s luxury hotels

The tradition of presenting new models during Geneva’s watch week extends well beyond Palexpo and along the shores of the lake. While these “off-site” presentations were once viewed with some skepticism, they have now become an integral part of the global experience surrounding Watches and Wonders.

This broader picture includes those brands unveiling their novelties for the 2026 watch year in the suites of Geneva’s grand hotels along the promenade. From April 13 to 17, the Beau-Rivage Genève becomes the centre of this movement: under the title “The Art of Horology,” 47 independent brands gather across six floors of the historic property. The suites transform into intimate exhibition spaces where craftsmanship, diversity and personal exchange take centre stage. Founded in 1865, the hotel provides a setting that is both elegant and steeped in history.

A walk through the corridors of the Beau-Rivage almost nostalgically recalls what watch fairs once felt like — vibrant, approachable and, above all, personal.

Within this setting, the full spectrum of independent watchmaking comes into view. Tutima from Glashütte, for instance, continues its elegant Patria line with in-house calibres, combining classic restraint with subtle colour accents.

HYT, on the other hand, takes a more experimental approach with the T1 Guilloché in titanium and a finely structured dial, while remaining true to its iconic fluidic display, where time is indicated by the level of a coloured liquid within a transparent tube.

Carl Suchy pursues an equally distinctive path with the Waltz N°1 Hoffmann Edition, featuring an ultra-thin movement with a microrotor developed exclusively for the brand.

Elsewhere, a quieter yet equally exclusive atmosphere prevails in other Geneva grand hotels. At the Four Seasons, for example, brands such as Jacob & Co and Speake Marin present their latest creations.

At the more secluded La Réserve, Greubel Forsey presents its highly complex timepieces. The manufacture has long stood for an especially expressive form of haute horlogerie — often through cases with pronounced curves, in which rotating world-time spheres reinterpret the very dimension of time.

It is precisely this diversity—from intimate presentations and avant-garde concepts to the highest levels of mechanical complexity— that makes Geneva’s watch week a truly unique overall experience today.
