World Watch Day 2026: “The Art of Watchmaking as a Living Cultural Heritage”

The second World Watch Day will take place on October 10, 2026. After reaching more than six million people last year, the central theme of this year’s event is “The Art of Watchmaking as a Living Cultural Heritage.”

The goal of World Watch Day is to bring together the global watch community—collectors, content creators, retailers, brands, journalists, artisans, watchmakers, educators, and enthusiasts.

The official hashtag #WorldWatchDay is therefore available to the entire community, which is encouraged by the World Watch Day Association to:

“Use October 10 as a platform for sharing, storytelling, and celebration. Whether you’re reminiscing about your first watch, showcasing a cherished timepiece, honoring those who introduced you to this passion, or reflecting on your personal relationship with time—your voice is part of the story.”

Share your photos, videos, memories, and favorite moments to show the world what the art of watchmaking means to you. And since watchmaking is ultimately a celebration of craftsmanship, beauty, creativity, and human ingenuity, we invite you to come together with fellow enthusiasts, colleagues, friends, and loved ones to celebrate this day together.”
