Hamilton: Ventura Quartz S
Since its debut in 1957, the “Ventura” has been one of the brand’s most distinctive watches. Its asymmetrical case, designed by industrial designer Richard Arbib, was unconventional from the very beginning. Arbib reinterpreted the V-shape he had originally designed for Hudson automobiles: he rotated it to create a case that appeared futuristic, expressive, and unmistakably modern for its time.
The new “Ventura Quartz S” continues this tradition and features a fresh color scheme inspired by Hawaii and the hibiscus flower. Longines: Conquest Heritage Central Power Reserve
In 1954, the “Conquest” was the first Longines collection to have its name officially registered with the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property. To this day, Longines continues to reinterpret the models from the 1950s, combining vintage design with modern watchmaking. This also applies to the new “Conquest Heritage Central Power Reserve.”
The “Conquest Ref. 9028” from 1959, with its power reserve indicator on rotating discs at the center of the dial, served as a source of inspiration. The new model draws on this historic feature and showcases it on a light blue opaline dial.
