MARLI Pink L23 and L30: Mother-of-pearl with a pyramid-shaped relief
MARLI New York is expanding its Timepieces collection with the Pink L23 and Pink L30. Both models feature a pink mother-of-pearl dial paired with a satin strap in the same color. The pyramid-shaped relief translates a recurring motif of the jewelry brand into a three-dimensional time display.

Geometry in a Fragile Material
The dial is carved from natural mother-of-pearl. The challenge lies in reproducing sharply defined edges and uniform depths in a comparatively soft, organic material. According to the brand, it took three years to develop the special tools used for this purpose. The hands, which are positioned slightly higher, create visual space for the relief.
The pyramid motif originates from MARLI’s jewelry collections and continues onto the crown. The crown is set with four diamonds; an additional 36 diamonds frame the stainless steel case. Stainless steel Dauphine hands echo the faceted design. The pink satin straps tie the two new models together into a color-coordinated ensemble.

Swiss quartz movement and manufacturing in Le Locle
Both watches are powered by a Swiss quartz movement. The Artinian Group is behind the Swiss manufacturing: In 2020, it took over Renaud Papi’s former production site in Le Locle and established a platform for precision manufacturing there with PreciTech. Design, machining, polishing, gem-setting, assembly, and quality control all work together within this structure.
The watch design is thus closely linked to the brand’s origins. Maral Artinian founded MARLI in New York in 2014; clean geometric lines and the interplay of light are central to her design language. In the Pink L23 and Pink L30 models, this design is carried over into a jewelry watch through the mother-of-pearl, the bezels, and the satin strap.
