Czapek and a new sporty-dynamic „Faubourg de Cracovie“ in dynamic green
Czapek & Cie is expanding its product range with the "Faubourg de Cracovie Crossroads Victory Green" chronograph. This stainless steel model, limited to 18 pieces, measures elapsed time to the tenth of a second.
This information, along with the time and date, can be read on the dial with its guilloché pattern in an elegant English green. Czapek commissioned it from Metalem, a long-established partner and dial manufacturer.
The dial: Tire tread in Racing Green
As with previous versions of this chronograph, it features a reinterpretation of the „Double-Soleil“ guilloché motif, originally developed for the „Quai des Bergues“ collection models in 40.5 millimeters.

For the "Faubourg de Cracovie," however, this motif was engraved more linearly and deeply to evoke the characteristic structure of a sports car tire tread, thus emphasizing the timepiece's sporting ambitions. The dynamic dial look is complemented by the black tachymeter scale.
These are the background and frame for the small seconds and date window at 6 o'clock, and the redesigned 30-minute and 12-hour counters, which are now slightly recessed. The subdials have diamond-polished edges, while their centers feature a subtle circular finish.

The Victory Green color, achieved through PVD finishing, also makes the dial change vividly depending on the viewing angle, with the positive side effect of improved readability without disturbing light reflections.
The clockwork: integrated high-frequency beater for
The „Faubourg de Cracovie Crossroads Victory Green“ is powered by the integrated high-frequency automatic caliber SXH3 with a 65-hour power reserve. The chronograph movement is COSC-certified and was developed by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier over six years, specifically tailored to Czapek's requirements.

The regulating system features a variable-inertia balance wheel – equipped with four gold regulating screws – that oscillates at a frequency of 36,000 semi-oscillations per hour (5 Hz). It utilizes a classic flat spiral spring made of a particularly robust metal alloy with a virtually unlimited lifespan.

The high frequency enables time measurement accurate to one tenth of a second, improved chronometric performance under real operating conditions, and significantly increased shock resistance.
In addition, a vertical clutch prevents the chronograph hand from "jumping" at the start of timing while simultaneously keeping the central chronograph hand permanently in place, without affecting the accuracy of the movement. This system is complemented by a precise, linear reset mechanism that ensures accurate and reliable resetting of the chronograph hands.

The movement, including its elaborate decoration, can be viewed through the sapphire crystal case back of the 41.5-millimeter stainless steel case, which is water-resistant to five bar.
The "Faubourg de Cracovie Crossroads Victory Green" chronograph is available with a choice of a handcrafted calfskin or Alcantara strap with a folding clasp. (RRP €41,200)
