Bianchet Rotondo UltraFino Diamond: Tourbillon Meets Baguette Diamonds

In the Rotondo UltraFino Diamond, Bianchet combines an ultra-thin flying tourbillon with a white gold bezel set with 40 baguette diamonds. However, the watch is not designed solely for its aesthetic appeal: a titanium case, water resistance to 10 bar, and shock resistance up to 5,000 G are intended to uphold the collection’s technical standards.

White Gold and Diamonds Meet Titanium

The basis for this new model is the Rotondo UltraFino, featuring a 39.5-millimeter-wide, 8.9-millimeter-high case made of Grade 5 titanium. For the Diamond version, Bianchet crafts the bezel from 18-karat white gold and sets it with 40 natural baguette-cut diamonds. The stones weigh a total of 1.6 carats and are graded F–G in color and VVS in clarity.

The rectangular shape of the baguette diamonds creates a deliberate contrast to the round case. A white rubber gasket is positioned between the bezel and the titanium middle section. It echoes the color of the optional strap while also serving as a functional component of the design.

Flying Tourbillon with a 60-hour power reserve

The open dial reveals the UR01 automatic in-house caliber. The movement, just 3.85 millimeters thick, consists of 225 components; the mainplate, bridges, and tourbillon cage are also crafted from Grade 5 titanium. The flying tourbillon has no upper bridge, while an 18-karat rose gold rotor handles the automatic winding. The power reserve is 60 hours.

Bianchet bases the watch’s architecture on the proportions of the Golden Ratio. According to the manufacturer, the hand-finished beveling of the bridges alone takes more than 30 hours of work. This ensures that the aesthetic aspect remains integrated into a design defined primarily by the choice of materials, its slim profile, and visible mechanics.

Two Different Performances

The watch comes with the integrated titanium bracelet and a white rubber strap with a quick-change system. With the titanium bracelet, the watch has a more structural look; with the rubber strap, the bright design featuring white gold and diamonds takes center stage. The Rotondo UltraFino Diamond will be unveiled to the public for the first time on October 16, 2026, at WatchTime New York. The price is 92,500 Swiss francs before taxes.
