Frédérique Constant Classics Heart Beat Moonphase Date: Midnight Blue and Salmon
Visible balance wheel, moon phase, and hand-operated date: Frédérique Constant combines three signature displays in the Classics Heart Beat Moonphase Date. Two new versions feature a midnight blue dial with a yellow gold-plated case or a salmon-colored dial in stainless steel. Both measure 40 millimeters and remain part of the regular collection.

An opening as a brand signature
The Heart-Beat aperture has been a signature design element of Frédérique Constant since 1994. It reveals the movement of the balance wheel from the dial side and draws the eye to the component that sets the rhythm of the mechanical movement. On the new Classics Heart Beat Moonphase Date, it is positioned at 12 o’clock, opposite the moon phase display at 6 o’clock.
The brand introduced the combination of a moon phase and central date hand in 2014. Instead of a date window, a long central hand points to the scale marked with 31 days along the outer edge of the dial. Hours and minutes are indicated by openwork, pomme-style hands. Roman numerals and a central Clous de Paris pattern complement the classic design.
Midnight blue with gold accents, salmon with black details
The FC-335MCN4P5 model features a midnight blue dial paired with yellow gold-plated stainless steel. Gold-colored hands and numerals, as well as moon and star motifs, echo the warm tone of the case. Different finishes—from the central pattern to the satin-finished areas—make the dark color appear to shift depending on how the light hits it.
The FC-335MCSALB4P26 combines a salmon-colored dial with a polished stainless steel case. Black numerals and hands provide contrast; the moon and stars appear silver. The color combination pays homage to historic dress watches without altering the model’s dial layout.

FC-335 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve
The watch is powered by the automatic FC-335 caliber, based on the Sellita SW200. The moon phase and date module is assembled in the Geneva workshops. The movement features 26 jewels, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers a 38-hour power reserve. The sapphire crystal case back reveals the decorative finishes and the gold-colored oscillating weight.
The cases measure 40 millimeters in diameter and 10 millimeters in height, and the watches are water-resistant to 6 bar. Both watches come with a brown leather strap featuring an alligator-embossed pattern and a pin buckle. The salmon-colored steel version costs 2,295 euros, while the midnight blue version with a yellow gold coating costs 2,495 euros.
