Milan as a creative hub

Milan Design Week is taking place in Milan until April 13th. It's a cultural event that transforms Milan into an epicenter of creativity for a week. Every year, the city becomes a stage for numerous interior designers, design studios, artists, creative collaborations, and companies from the global design scene.

The international furniture fair “Salone del Mobile” takes place there, as does the “Fuorisalone” with decentralized events throughout the city, where courtyards and buildings are also made accessible to visitors.

The two Italian fine jewelry brands Pasquale Bruni and Recarlo are also part of this creative and immersive experience.

Pasquale Bruni: Exhibition “It means Peace”

Pasquale Bruni celebrates the “Ghirlana” collection during Milan Design Week with an immersive event and a special exhibition.

Pasquale Bruni Designer Eugenia Bruni has teamed up with Marco Balich, curator of numerous Olympic ceremonies, to present the project “It Means Peace”.

The impressive installation expresses the shared values of Eugenia Bruni and Marco Balich: peace, love, beauty, respect, and sustainability. The desire for and appreciation of peace begins with the word, which is depicted in various languages, illuminated, and conveyed through language and symbols.

Designer Eugenia Bruni draws inspiration from nature in her creations and demonstrates this connection to nature, among other things, through the collection names, which revolve around flowers and gardens – places of tranquility, peace, and self-discovery.

This meaning is also evident in the installation “It means Peace,” which provides the perfect environment for the “Ghirlanda” collection to become a symbol.

The Gesamtkunstwerk can be seen from 7 to 17 April at Strettone Pinacoteca di Brera, Via Fiori Oscuri 4.

Recarlo: Appearance with special boutique windows

Meanwhile, Recarlo has given its boutique windows a new look during Milan Design Week, highlighting the cultural significance of creativity and elegance.

The signature jewelry pieces are reinterpreted in dialogue with legendary design pieces that, like the diamonds, embody timeless design, perfect proportions, and a bold sense of identity. This installation is a tribute to craftsmanship, light, and the shared pursuit of beauty that transcends time.

Recarlo's boutique is located at Via San Pietro all'Orto, 26, where the beautifully designed shop windows can currently be admired.
