G-SHOCK presents AI-generated case design

Like all G-SHOCK watches, the new "MTG-4000" from the Japanese brand is characterised by a striking case.

What makes it special is that it is the joint work of a human design team and artificial intelligence (AI).

As part of the "MT-G" series, the "MTG-B4000" combines metal and carbon to create a special impact resistance.

Of course, this also applies to the new G-SHOCK model, in which KI was involved in the robust and unconventional new frame design. It allows the strap connection to be integrated into the case, which reduces the load on the centre case and further improves shock resistance.

The housing is made from a base material consisting of laminated layers of carbon and glass fibre. This creates a layered pattern that is visible from the side. The bezel also features an elaborately finished upper surface with Sallaz polishing, which ensures a smooth and distortion-free surface.

The "MTG-B4000" naturally offers a lot of functionality typical of G-SHOCK. In addition to receiving time signals from six worldwide broadcasting stations, it supports "Mobile Link" for pairing with a smartphone via Bluetooth. This not only enables automatic time adjustment, but also many other functions in conjunction with the Casio Watches app.

E is available in the versions "MTG-B4000B-1A2ER" in blue and "MTG-B4000-1AER" in black. (RRP €1,350 and €1,250 respectively)
