IWC Schaffhausen expands its "Colours of Top Gun" collection

The new model is called “Pilot's Watch Automatic 41 Top Gun Mojave Desert” and is housed in a sand-colored 41-millimeter ceramic case.

The inspiration for this color was the Navy's pilot's uniforms and the landscape around China Lake in the western Mojave Desert. "Mojave Desert" was, incidentally, the first ceramic color in the "Colors of Top Gun" collection in 2019. However, IWC has already had almost 40 years of experience in manufacturing ceramic cases.

The sand-colored case of the current “Top Gun” watch, its brown dial with subtle indices and numerals, and the beige rubber strap with textile inlay and titanium clasp form a monochrome melange.

Even the minute track and numerals are coordinated with the "Mojave Desert" color, emphasizing the tone-on-tone design. The Superluminova coating ensures good legibility in low-light conditions.

In the case, which is water-resistant to ten bar and features an engraved titanium back, the manufacture caliber 32112 with automatic pawl winding performs its driving task and offers a generous power reserve of 120 hours.
