Frank Walz becomes Managing Director at egf

The Pforzheim-based wedding ring manufacturer egf is strengthening its management team. Effective January 1, 2026, Frank Walz will become the new Managing Director, alongside current CEO Markus Reichert. This move is a response to increased demands in the areas of market development and customer focus.

Building on strengths for the next growth phase

egf has decided to appoint Frank Walz as its new Managing Director, effective January 1, 2026. He will thus support the current Managing Director, Markus Reichert, as part of a dual leadership team that will successfully lead the company into the future.

With this decision, egf is responding to the increased demands on market development and customer focus. The goal is to specifically expand the company's existing strengths while simultaneously establishing clear responsibilities for the next growth phase. Markus Reicher, Managing Director of egf, explains:

"I'm delighted to have Frank Walz, an experienced colleague with deep roots in the company and the industry, at my side. Our collaboration in this new constellation will enable us to structure our tasks with even greater focus and efficiency regarding our internal processes and global marketing."

Frank Walz, for his part, states:

Stefan Schiffer, Managing Director of the Binder Group, emphasizes the valuable contribution that the future co-managing director has already made alongside Markus Reichert:

The process for Frank Walz's successor as head of sales, which will be filled due to his move to management, has begun at the same time.
