The new RECON Navigation Specialist 8830 series – or "NAV SPEC" for short – embodies the next evolution of sporty timepieces ready for any mission. The new 8830 NAV SPEC is specifically tailored to the demanding requirements of reconnaissance units. In military operations, the Navigation Specialist (NAV SPEC) is tasked with keeping the patrol on the designated route, whether using maps, compass, GPS, or now the new Luminox tactical watch.

The RECON 8830 series sets new standards in land navigation thanks to its functionality. The robust 46mm case is made of CARBONOX™, a carbon composite material that is exceptionally lightweight yet extremely durable, able to withstand even the toughest conditions. Powered by a Swiss quartz movement from RONDA, the series features a GMT hand that makes it easy to keep track of two time zones simultaneously: ideal for globetrotters who like to stay in sync with their home life while traveling and want to keep track of the best time to contact friends, family, or the office overseas. A sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating protects the dial, ensuring clarity and excellent readability at a glance – even in the most adverse lighting conditions, made possible by the iconic Luminox Light Technology (LLT).

 The NAV SPEC 8830 comes with a black rubber strap, not only designed for comfort but also featuring integrated scale markers and a removable compass. This makes the new series a consistently reliable navigation instrument for field use. For an extra dose of versatility, the SET model of the NAV SPEC features an additional military green NATO textile strap.
