Maurice Lacroix: Aikon Quartz Wotto Limited Edition – Watchmaking meets Pop Art
The latest result of the ongoing collaboration between Swiss manufacturer Maurice Lacroix and British artist Wotto, whose real name is Craig Watkins, transforms the wrist into a winking gallery of miniature art.
With its stainless steel case featuring double PVD treatment in gunmetal, black bezel and anthracite grey dial, Maurice Lacroix creates a canvas and frame for the Wotto surprises: including skulls, ghosts and other figures from his fantastic animal world – realized as a tone-on-tone print.

This gives the “Aikon Quartz Wotto Limited Edition” by Maurice Lacroix an exciting depth effect.
Before that, the minute hand, decorated with a friendly ghost as a passenger with Superluminova in its luggage, provides an amusing accent, while the curling second hand makes its rounds in bright pink.
To compensate for the absence of hour markers on the dial, the matte black hands are coated with Super-LumiNova to ensure comfortable readability at all times.

The concept of the date display provides a surprise when reading the date.
Instead of classic numerals, Wotto has created 31 unique drawings that adorn the edge of the date disc.
This allows the wearer to discover a completely new miniature art creation every day.
Precision is ensured by the Ronda 515 quartz movement. It is protected by a 40-millimeter stainless steel case, water-resistant to 10 bar. The case back is adorned with the inscription "Maurice Lacroix x WOTTO" and the serial number of this limited edition watch (only 500 pieces were made).

The “Aikon Quartz Wotto Limited Edition” is worn on a black rubber strap with a pink loop and easy-change system.
