"Archao" and the power of the essential – MeisterSinger presents a particularly striking single-hand watch to mark its 25th anniversary
MeisterSinger at Inhorgenta 2026: Hall A1, Booth 311
Meistersinger is never at a loss for meaningful model names. Each one represents a different variation on the company’s single-hand principle, which allows for watches with very different characters.
Certain stylistic features can be found on almost all MeisterSinger watches: the needle-point hour hand, the leading zero in the hour numbers, and markings in five-minute increments between them, which make reading the time easier.
MeisterSinger offers elegant dress watches, robust sports watches, and models with mechanical special features such as a striking mechanism.

The newly unveiled “Archao” belongs to a different category. Despite its name, its graphic design gives it a decidedly more modern look than the other models. However, according to MeisterSinger, the name stands for “original” and thus for the essential. And the watch does indeed succinctly highlight the essence of the now 25-year-old brand.

The matte black DLC-coated case with a generous diameter of 43 millimeters and the dark, grained dials (in black, red, and blue) form the backdrop for the bold hour markers, numerals, and striking hands. Designed as “Lumiblocks,” they glow intensely. And thanks to the large hand overhang, the overall look remains balanced.
The saddle leather strap that comes with the Archao models is also appropriately robust: black for the black version, dark red for the red version, and cognac for the blue version.

The Archao is powered by the Sellita SW 200 automatic caliber. The blackened 43-millimeter stainless steel case is water-resistant to five bar and has a screw-down glass back with an unusual, “archaic” imprint reminiscent of a volcano.
