Hands-On: YEMA Navygraf Pearl CMM.20
Some diver’s watches prioritize functionality above all else. Others strive to combine sporty technology with a more elegant aesthetic. The YEMA Navygraf Pearl CMM.20 clearly falls into the latter category — and it is precisely this that makes it stand out as uniquely distinctive within today’s diver segment.
During hands-on wear, it quickly becomes clear that the Navygraf Pearl aims to be far more than a conventional tool watch. Its slim case, shimmering mother-of-pearl dial and ultra-thin micro-rotor movement give the watch a noticeably more refined character without without compromising its sporty, everyday practicality.

Compact proportions with modern elegance
With a 39 mm diameter and a thickness below 10 mm, the Navygraf Pearl wears exceptionally balanced on the wrist. These slim proportions give the watch a considerably more elegant presence than many traditional dive watches.
The vertically brushed 316L stainless steel case is complemented by polished bevels that create additional depth depending on the light. Combined with the compact 46 mm lug-to-lug measurement, the result is a modern and versatile appearance that feels both sporty and surprisingly dressy.
Mother-of-pearl dial with an ever-changing character
The true centerpiece of the Navygraf Pearl is undoubtedly its dial. The natural mother-of-pearl creates constantly shifting nuances of silver, violet, turquoise and cool blue tones depending on lighting and viewing angle. As a result, the watch never feels static and develops a remarkable sense of depth and movement on the wrist.
What stands out most is the balance between elegance and sportiness. The applied hour markers and bold stainless steel hands provide enough visual presence while maintaining excellent legibility. Reflections across the polished surfaces further enhance the depth of the mother-of-pearl texture.

In keeping with the dial, YEMA has also opted for mother-of-pearl for the unidirectional rotating diving bezel. This creates an exceptionally harmonious overall look that clearly sets it apart from classic aluminum or ceramic diver’s watches. The subtle texture of the bezel beautifully echoes the shifting light effects of the dial and reinforces the watch’s distinctive identity.
Even in darkness, the Navygraf remains true to its professional dive watch character. The hands, indices and bezel markings are coated with Super-LumiNova BGW9 Grade A, ensuring clear and bright readability nighttime visibility.
The CMM.20 a micro-rotor movement
Inside, the watch is powered by the in-house CMM.20 micro-rotor caliber, which is entirely developed, manufactured, assembled, and regulated in France. Especially in this price range, an ultra-thin micro-rotor movement is anything but common, giving the Navygraf Pearl an additional technical highlight.
The power reserve of approximately 70 hours ensures excellent practicality for everyday use, while the stated accuracy of -3/+7 seconds per day is already approaching chronometer standards. At the same time, the movement’s slim profile is what makes the watch’s sleek proportions possible.
Through the sapphire display caseback, the micro-rotor calibre remains fully visible – a detail that perfectly complements the more sophisticated character of the Navygraf Pearl.

Stainless steel bracelet with excellent everyday comfort
On the stainless steel bracelet, the Navygraf Pearl showcases its versatility particularly well. The slim 316L steel bracelet integrates seamlessly into the compact case and feels noticeably more elegant than many traditional dive watch bracelets.
The new clasp with integrated quick-adjustment system proves especially practical in daily wear. The fit can be adjusted instantly without removing the watch or using tools – a detail that quickly becomes noticeable on warmer days or while traveling.
YEMA also offers the Navygraf Pearl with an integrated FKM rubber strap, emphasizing the watch’s sportier side even further. On the steel bracelet, however, the Navygraf feels especially balanced and versatile.
Conclusion: A diver with a sophisticated charm
The YEMA Navygraf Pearl CMM.20 combines professional dive watch characteristics with an elegant approach to materials and color. The shimmering mother-of-pearl dial, slim proportions and in-house micro-rotor movement give the watch a truly distinctive identity within the modern diver category.
As a result, the Navygraf Pearl feels less like a classic, straightforward tool watch and more like a modern sports watch with a distinctly more sophisticated appeal — versatile, technically intriguing, and visually unique. Considering its price of €2,249, the Navygraf Pearl offers an interesting overall package of design, technology, and comfort.
