BA111OD launches the Chapter 7 Skeleton

With the new Chapter 7 Skeleton, BA111OD expands its sporty, integrated collection with a fully skeletonized model. The watch is available exclusively with an anthracite-colored PVD coating and features an open dial with visible mechanics and distinct contrasts between brushed, sandblasted, and polished surfaces. Inside, the automatic Soprod P024 caliber powers the watch. With a price of CHF 1,120, BA111OD deliberately positions the new Skeleton in the more accessible segment of modern Swiss-made mechanical watches.

David Candaux: DC1 Art du Tourbillon Circuit Board

David Candeaux: The DC1 Platine Art du Tourbillon

With the new DC1 Platine Art du Tourbillon, independent watchmaker David Candaux presents his first model crafted entirely in platinum. Limited to eight pieces, this edition combines the asymmetrical DC1 case with a 30°-inclined flying tourbillon and an intricately constructed dial made of onyx, opal, and rose gold. The patented “Magic Crown” at 6 o’clock also remains a striking feature. However, the focus remains on the distinctive tourbillon concept, which Candaux has deliberately optimized for the wearing position on the wrist.

Louis Erard expands the 2340 collection

Louis Erard: 2340 Collection

Louis Erard is expanding its 2340 series, launched in 2025, with two new dial variations: “Mauve” and “Forest.” Both models feature the familiar integrated titanium/stainless steel case with a flat silhouette and the automatic Sellita SW300-1 caliber. While “Mauve” features a soft, relief-like pattern, “Forest” has a distinctly more graphic look with a horizontally textured surface. The new color palette noticeably alters the character of the sporty integrated line without changing the collection’s basic architecture.

AWAKE combines guilloché and Sơn Mài lacquer art

Awake: Sơn Mài – Guilloché Main

With its new “Sơn Mài – Guilloché Main” collection, AWAKE presents an unusual fusion of two traditional crafts: hand-guilloché dials from Italy meet Vietnamese Sơn Mài lacquer art for the first time in watchmaking. The new 38-mm collection is available in three limited-edition variants, each limited to 200 pieces—“Sunset,” “Alba,” and “Borealis”—inspired by atmospheric light phenomena. Inside, a La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement with a 68-hour power reserve keeps the watch running.

MB&F; launches the colorful LM Perpetual Chromatic Editions

MB&F; reinterprets the Legacy Machine Perpetual in a new “Chromatic” series. These strictly limited-edition models combine the perpetual calendar developed by Stephen McDonnell with colored gemstone bezels: blue or violet sapphires set in white gold, and rubies set in red gold. Each variant is limited to just eight pieces. Technically, the fully integrated caliber with a mechanical processor remains unchanged—visually, however, MB&F; is now positioning the Legacy Machine much more firmly in the realm of high jewelry.

Tutima Glashütte unveils new Patria special editions

Tutima Glashütte: Patria Anthracite

To mark its 99th anniversary, Tutima Glashütte is launching two new Patria special editions in 18-karat rose gold. Both models are limited to nine pieces each and feature the new hand-wound Tutima 626 caliber. A particularly striking feature: Tutima has deliberately omitted the classic three-quarter plate, thereby offering a much clearer view of the decorated gear train. The models are available with either a finely silvered or anthracite-colored dial and combine classic Glashütte design with an unusually open movement architecture.
