OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph “007 First Light”
OMEGA brings a virtual spy watch to life: The new Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph “007 First Light” was developed for the video game of the same name and expands the brand’s James Bond collection with its first chronograph in the history of the Seamaster Diver 300M.
At the heart of 007 First Light is a young James Bond at the start of his career. In the game, he is accompanied by an OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph, whose functions go far beyond classic timekeeping: In the virtual world, it is equipped with features such as a hacking tool and a laser bracelet. For the real-world version, OMEGA has translated the striking design of the digital model into a full-fledged mechanical watch.
The First Bond Chronograph in the Seamaster Diver 300M Collection
The 44-millimeter stainless steel case is framed by a black ceramic bezel featuring a white enamel diving scale. The chronograph pushers are also made of polished black ceramic. This ensures that the new model remains clearly recognizable as a Seamaster Diver 300M, while the dark materials and technical accents give it a distinctive, decidedly modern presence.
Black ceramic with bronze-gold accents
The black ceramic dial features the collection’s signature laser-engraved wave pattern. The PVD bronze-gold ring of the totalizer at 3 o’clock creates a deliberate contrast. The central chronograph hand also echoes this color. The remaining hands and hour markers are rhodium-plated and coated with white Super-LumiNova; the red “Seamaster” lettering and the date window at 6 o’clock complete the dial.
NATO album with ties to the world of 007
OMEGA pairs the watch with a specially designed NATO strap in black, gray, and beige. The color scheme is reminiscent of the model from *No Time to Die*, but features a new striped pattern here. A special Seamaster clasp, along with “007” and “First Light” engravings on the straps, establish a direct connection to the game. Six additional NATO straps, available separately, are based on variations that can be selected within the game.
Master Chronometer Caliber 9900
Inside, the automatic OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 9900 powers the watch. It drives the small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock and the combined 60-minute and 12-hour counters at 3 o’clock. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The underside of the crystal also features the “007 First Light” logo in black metallized finish.
The presentation also follows the narrative concept: Each watch comes in a special box whose design is reminiscent of the case for OMEGA’s watches in the video game. In this way, the new model combines classic Seamaster technology with an unusually direct translation from the digital world.
