Geneva Watch Days 2026: The seventh edition started
Geneva Watch Days 2026 has officially begun. On September 2, the traditional press conference at the Palais Eynard kicked off the seventh edition of the decentralized Geneva watch event. Through September 6, 71 brands will showcase their new releases in boutiques, hotels, showrooms, and the central pavilion by the lake.
Record Turnout for the Seventh Edition
What began in 2020 with eight founding brands has, in just a few years, become a fixture on the international watch calendar. The record number of 71 participating brands demonstrates just how widely the open format has been embraced. Major manufacturers stand alongside independent watchmakers and young ateliers.

Kickoff at the Palais Eynard
At the opening, Christina Kitsos, Delphine Bachmann, and Jean-Christophe Babin spoke about the event’s significance for Geneva and the watch industry. The venue underscored the close connection between the city, its institutions, and watchmaking.

Geneva Watch Days is organized independently and supported by local and cantonal partners. At its core lies the decentralized principle: the city itself becomes the exhibition space, while the Pavilion serves as a communal gathering place, media center, and stage for public events.
Five Days for Brands, Collectors, and the Public
Product launches, talks, exhibitions, and meetings are on the program through Sunday. Unlike a traditional trade show, a large part of the event is also aimed at interested visitors. It is precisely this blend of an industry gathering and a public watch week that defines the character of the event.

Geneva as Part of the Concept
With 71 brands, the 2026 event will reach a new scale without abandoning its original vision. The new releases are not displayed in a closed-off exhibition hall, but rather right where the Geneva watch world truly thrives. This makes Geneva Watch Days both focused and open—and explains why the format has established itself in such a short time.
