Mattia Narducci × mandana: Platinum Capsule Collection with Laboratory-Grown Diamonds

With the Capsule Collection x Mattia Narducci, mandana continues to evolve its signature octagon. Additional facets, inspired by the cut of a diamond, give the geometric shape greater depth and make it appear different depending on how the light hits it. The focus is on recycled 950 platinum and lab-grown Nevermined diamonds from the company’s own production facility in Essen.

The octagon has 24 facets

The new design language is particularly evident in the Capsule Ring. Its three-dimensional silhouette consists of 24 faceted surfaces. Each of the eight corners features a 0.04-carat Nevermined diamond; together, they total 0.32 carats.

In the bracelets, two faceted octagons interlock flexibly to form an abstract horizontal figure-eight. The Capsule Spark bracelet complements this design with 24 lab-grown diamonds totaling 0.24 carats. The necklace, earrings, and earcuff also interpret the motif in different sizes and proportions. Black NewLife fabric straps made from recycled PET provide a sporty contrast to the platinum in several designs.

Mattia Narducci as the face of the unisex collection

Italian actor, creator, and model Mattia Narducci is the new face of the brand for the Capsule collection. The pieces are deliberately designed to be unisex. In this way, mandana combines its existing design language with an aesthetic that no longer categorizes diamond jewelry according to traditional gender roles.

High Jewelry in Recycled White Gold

Three pieces featuring an emphasis on diamonds bring this theme to life in recycled 18-karat white gold. The Capsule high jewelry bracelet features a total of 3.82 carats, while the matching necklace features 11.30 carats. In the Capsule Change Ring, octagonal spacer elements connect eight lab-grown diamonds, each weighing 0.24 carats; the total weight is 1.92 carats.

The range thus extends from minimalist platinum pieces to red-carpet jewelry. Narducci had already presented the high-jewelry designs at the Venice Film Festival.

Diamonds from our own production

The lab-grown diamonds used are produced at Nevermined in Essen under controlled conditions and, according to the company, using certified green electricity. Since Nevermined and mandana are closely linked, diamond production and jewelry design can be coordinated. For the new capsule collection, this connection is not only part of the story behind the pieces but also plays a key role in their design: the size and position of the stones are specifically tailored to the refined octagonal shape.
