Tissot PRX: New Quartz Chronograph
Available in three colors and featuring a precise quartz movement
With the PRX Quartz Chronograph, Tissot is expanding its successful sports-inspired collection to include a chronograph with a quartz movement. The new model retains the PRX’s integrated silhouette but features a 41-millimeter stainless steel case with contoured pushers and is available in three dial variations.

The PRX is getting a quartz chronograph
The PRX is one of those watches in which the case and bracelet function as a single design unit. The new chronograph does nothing to change this: The tapered case visually blends into the integrated metal bracelet, while the round bezel creates a deliberate contrast to the angular sides.
The two chronograph pushers are the most notable new features. Tissot has shaped them to blend seamlessly into the side profile. This preserves the flat lines characteristic of the PRX, even though the watch appears significantly more complex in terms of function than the familiar three-hand models.

Vertical layout and three circular dials
On the dial, a vertical brushed finish replaces the waffle pattern that characterizes many automatic PRX models. Three circular sub-dials give structure to the display. The date window is positioned diagonally at 4 o’clock, echoing the chronograph’s dynamic design.
The baton-shaped hands and applied hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova to ensure the time remains visible even in low light. The fine minute track markings on the outer edge and the differently styled sub-dials ensure that the display remains organized despite the density of information.

Three colors: silver, blue, and black
Tissot is offering the PRX Quartz Chronograph in three versions at launch. On the silver-colored dial, rose gold-colored hands, hour markers, and sub-dial bezels add warm accents. The black version combines its dark background with nickel-plated hour markers, creating a striking contrast. The blue model’s vertically brushed finish accentuates the interplay between light and dark reflections.

Precision with EOL Indicator
Inside, a quartz chronograph movement powers the watch. An EOL indicator alerts the wearer when the battery is nearing the end of its life. In its press release, Tissot does not specify the exact caliber designation or provide details on battery life. The sapphire crystal protects the dial; the integrated stainless steel bracelet can be removed using a quick-release system without the need for traditional watchmaking tools.
With its quartz movement, Tissot positions the new chronograph as a precise and uncomplicated addition to the collection. At the same time, the watch’s design remains firmly rooted in the PRX universe: an angular stainless steel case, a round crystal, an integrated bracelet, and a distinctive surface finish continue to define its character.
