INSIGHT-RADAR: Jaeger-LeCoultre, Watches for ELA, and Leo Pizzo
Historic Jaeger-LeCoultre watches in Hong Kong, three exceptional timepieces for the “Watches for ELA” charity auction, and Leo Pizzo jewelry on the red carpet: The new INSIGHT-RADAR brings together the world of collecting, the Métiers d’Art, and Hollywood.
Jaeger-LeCoultre: The Collectibles VII
Jaeger-LeCoultre presents the seventh edition of its in-house program for restored historic watches. Ten timepieces, inspected and refurbished in the Manufacture’s workshops, are the focus of an exhibition in Hong Kong. The selection is divided into the Duoplan, Reverso, Memovox, and precision watch categories.

The selection for sale is complemented by side-by-side comparisons of historical models with their current successors and demonstrations from the restoration workshop. The watches will be available in Hong Kong and online from October 13 through 19.

Watches for ELA: Three Special Watches for Research and Affected Families
The “Watches for ELA” charity auction will take place on November 9, 2026, in Geneva, with the support of Christie’s. Watch brands are donating one-of-a-kind pieces created specifically for the event; the proceeds will support the European Leukodystrophy Association (ELA). ELA promotes research into leukodystrophies and provides support to families affected by these rare disorders of the brain’s white matter.
Maurice Lacroix: 1975 Master Grand Date Retrograde
Maurice Lacroix is contributing a one-of-a-kind 1975 Master Grand Date Retrograde. The watch features a 42-millimeter stainless steel case with a transparent sapphire dial and strategically placed pink accents. The large date is positioned at 12 o’clock, and the retrograde day-of-the-week display is at 6 o’clock.

This one-of-a-kind timepiece is powered by the ML302 caliber, the 26th movement in the Masterpiece caliber family. A black strap with pink stitching echoes the accent color. The open design draws attention not only to the two displays but also to the mechanical architecture of the movement.
Kerbedanz: 65’27” Tree of Life

For this same occasion, Kerbedanz is creating a one-of-a-kind piece of its 65’27” model. Artist Gezim Meta hand-painted the rotating hour ring and the visible rotor with a Tree of Life motif. Both sides of the watch are thus designed as complementary visual surfaces.

The rotating titanium hour ring features a subtle honeycomb pattern designed to reduce mass and inertia. The visible rotor also serves as a design element, continuing the motif found on the back.
Gerald Charles: Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin “Tiger’s Eye”
Gerald Charles is making the prototype of his Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin “Tiger’s Eye”—developed in collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi—available for the Watches for ELA auction. The timepiece will be offered on November 9, 2026, as part of Christie’s Rare Watches auction in Geneva. All proceeds from the sale will benefit ELA International. This is the prototype of a limited edition of 20 pieces, created to mark the 75th anniversary of Ahmed Seddiqi and the 25th anniversary of Gerald Charles.

The tiger’s eye dial features no hour markers or minute track, allowing the stone’s natural banding to stand out. The Maestro case has a bronze-brown Colormix finish; a sand-colored rubber strap echoes the warm tones. Inside, the 3.7-millimeter-thick mechanical Caliber 2.0 features 189 components and is adorned with colimaçonnage, Côtes de Genève, and perlage finishes.
Leo Pizzo: Flora in Hollywood
At the Arpa Film Festival in Los Angeles, Sveva Alviti received an award for “Other Side of Fame.” For the occasion, the actress wore a necklace, earrings, and a ring from Leo Pizzo’s Flora Collection. The floral motif is formed by diamond-set leaves and combines classic high-jewelry elements with a clearly recognizable silhouette.
