MB&F LM1 EVO: The Legacy Machine N°1 Returns
Fifteen years after the debut of the first Legacy Machine, MB&F is bringing back the LM1. The new LM1 EVO retains the distinctive architecture featuring two completely independent time displays and a balance wheel that hovers above the movement, but incorporates it into a smaller and more robust EVO case.

Two time zones without the traditional GMT logic
The two small dials each display hours and minutes and can be set independently of one another. This allows the second display to show time zones with a 30- or 45-minute difference. Alternatively, it can be used simply to track elapsed time, while the other dial continues to display local time.
Between the two displays, the 14-millimeter balance wheel with a Straumann double hairspring operates. It is supported by a newly designed titanium bridge and oscillates at 18,000 half-vibrations per hour. The LM1’s vertical power reserve indicator has been replaced by an angled scale along the lower edge. At the same time, the power reserve has increased from 45 to 60 hours.
A classic timepiece with a case better suited for everyday wear
The hand-wound caliber was developed in collaboration with Jean-François Mojon; Kari Voutilainen defined its design and finishing. Gold chatons, polished recesses, Côtes de Genève, chamfered edges with internal angles, and hand-engraved details add classic accents. Dark-coated bridges create a contrast to the three-dimensional front.

The 42-millimeter-wide, 16.8-millimeter-high case is water-resistant to 80 meters. The patented FlexRing is positioned between the movement and the case to provide ring-shaped shock protection. Screw-down crowns and a quick-release system on the case and folding clasp underscore the EVO model’s focus on everyday wearability.
Titanium or Rose Gold
MB&F offers the LM1 EVO in Grade 5 titanium with a rhodium-plated dial plate, as well as in 5N+ rose gold with a blue-green dial plate. The rose gold version is limited to 33 pieces. Prices are 89,000 euros plus tax for the titanium model and 111,000 euros plus tax for the rose gold model.
