GPHG 2026: The nominees in Geneva

On November 7, 2026, the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) awards will be presented in Geneva. The finalists are already on display there: Through November 15, the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire is showcasing the timepieces nominated for this year’s edition. Following stops in Mumbai and Bangkok, the exhibition opened in Geneva on October 29.

The collection includes 78 wristwatches and six mechanical timepieces. In addition to the exhibition, there are free guided tours led by experts, introductory workshops with the Geneva Watchmaking School, lectures, and activities for younger visitors. Works from HEAD–Genève and the archival initiative The Watch Library round out the program.

Our article “GPHG 2026: Watches That Don’t Belong on the Wrist” shows just how differently the six finalists in the “Mechanical Clock” category interpret the theme of time. The awards ceremony will take place on November 7 at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices; the livestream on gphg.org begins at 6:30 p.m. CET. The exhibition will remain open until November 15. Visitors can find it at 2 Rue Charles-Galland: Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.; the museum is closed on Mondays.
