Watch News Briefing: Nivada Grenchen, BALL, and Direnzo
A small jewelry watch with many faces, a comic-style pilot’s watch in several sizes, and a GMT watch with a sculptural case: Nivada Grenchen, BALL, and Direnzo each bring their own unique flair to their new releases. What they have in common is that their designs go far beyond simply a new dial color.
Nivada Grenchen Colorama: One Watch, Many Pieces of Jewelry

The Colorama draws inspiration from the versatility of historic jewelry watches and translates it into a modular system. At its heart is a stainless steel case—just 17 millimeters wide and 6.75 millimeters high—with a gold-colored coating. Various bezels can be attached to it, and the narrow leather straps can also be swapped out. A white enamel dial with gold-colored hour markers displays the time in a deliberately understated manner.

Nivada Colorama: Just a Selection of Possible Combinations
Two styles serve as the starting point: “Golden Hour” combines various gold-colored bezels, while “Color Pop” features enamel in orange, green, and white. The Classic set includes four straps, while the Collector edition includes seven. This allows the watch to transform from a subtle evening accessory to a colorful accent on the wrist.

The Collector’s Box adds a 35-millimeter Golden Sun pendant to the set, which holds the watch case. The sets also include a heart-shaped Time Capsule pendant featuring a small diamond. The watch is thus part of a jewelry concept that can be worn beyond the wrist.
The Ronda 1042 two-hand quartz movement operates beneath the flat sapphire crystal. The watch is water-resistant to 5 bar. The regular Colorama collection will go on sale on November 12, 2026; it is intended to be a permanent offering.
BALL Engineer III Snoopy Flying Ace: four size and material options

Snoopy makes another appearance as a Flying Ace at BALL—this time in the Engineer III. This is a different model series than the Engineer Master II, which was previously introduced. The steel version, crafted from 904L stainless steel, is available in diameters of 36, 40, or 43 millimeters; there is also a 43-millimeter version in bronze. Each version is limited to 250 pieces.
Snoopy appears as a pilot at the 6 o’clock position; Woodstock sits at the tip of the second hand. Black and blue dials are available for the steel models. BALL combines this playful design with the technical features of its sporty watches: gas lights ensure readability in the dark without needing to be charged by an external light source. The 36-millimeter version has 13 light tubes, while the larger models have 14.

The RR1105 automatic movement offers a 42-hour power reserve. The cases are water-resistant to 100 meters; BALL also specifies magnetic field protection up to 4,800 A/m and shock resistance up to 5,000 G. For the steel watches, the case height ranges from 11.50 to 12.75 millimeters; the bronze version measures 12.35 millimeters. Depending on the model, metal or leather straps are available.
Direnzo DRZ 08 Cosmonaire: GMT—Between the Space Age and the Present

Direnzo’s first GMT watch combines a second time zone with a gently rounded case and an elliptical bezel. The DRZ 08 Cosmonaire measures 39 millimeters in diameter, 46 millimeters across the lugs, and just 10 millimeters in height, including the sapphire crystal. The case and steel bracelet feature a coating with a specified hardness of 800 HV.
Inside, the watch is powered by the automatic Sellita SW330-2 in the Elaboré version; Direnzo states a power reserve of 54 hours. A screw-down crown, sapphire crystal case back, and 10 atm water resistance round out the features.

The collection includes six models: four standard versions and two limited editions. The heat-treated Muonionalusta meteorite dial with orange luminescent material is limited to 60 pieces. The collaboration with Isotope features a gray dial, white luminescent material, and thermally blued steel hands; 40 pieces will be produced.
Pre-orders begin on November 21, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. CET, and delivery is scheduled for mid-January 2027. Direnzo has set pre-order prices at 1,200 CHF for the standard models and 1,350 CHF for the limited editions.
