The Eppli House gives Stuttgart a new address for pre-owned luxury
From July 2025, the family business Eppli will unite all product categories and its more than 45 years of expertise under one roof on an area of 2,000 square metres.
The concept, which is unique in Germany, offers a unique shopping experience with an auction room, a flagship store, a jeweller for private sales and a comprehensive range of services.

The construction work in the former Spielwaren Kurtz building at Sporerstraße 8 is in full swing: the walls have been erected, the new shop window front has been installed and the electrical cables have been laid. Painting work has recently begun, with flooring and carpentry work to follow soon.
"The vision of uniting all our divisions and expertise in one house has existed for a long time. With Eppli Haus, we can now finally realise our plans and create a large auction and trading house for pre-owned luxury," says Managing Director Ferdinand Eppli.
For a long time, Eppli's headquarters in Bärenstraße actually housed all departments under one roof. But as the family business developed into one of the largest full-service providers for tangible assets and investments, additional space was needed.
New location in a prime location
When the former Kurtz building became vacant, Eppli did not hesitate for long. In the immediate vicinity of Merz & Benzing and the market hall, Sporerstraße is regarded as a luxury mile in Stuttgart that stretches all the way to the Dorotheen neighbourhood.
"The corner has always been characterised by high-quality shops, attractive brands and fine dining - and is therefore a perfect fit for us," says Ferdinand Eppli.

In future, all business areas will come together on six floors: The ground floor will house the jewellery shop, the jewellery and watch area as well as a sales area for fashion, handbags and accessories - which will continue up to the first floor.

Part of the expert centre as well as the goldsmith and watchmaker workshop are also planned there.
The passageway into the area facing the market square offers space for the auction preview as well as an air-conditioned wine cellar behind glass and leads into the modern auction room with integrated bar.

The majority of the expert offices will move to the second floor. This is where the appraisal, purchase or consignment of objects for auctions will take place. The third floor is intended for the management, HR and marketing departments as well as meeting rooms.
Art, collectibles and antiques as well as coins, stamps and historical items are offered on the first basement floor, while the second basement floor serves as storage space.
Unique shopping experience
"It should be an experience to go to Eppli - whether you visit our auctions on Saturdays or buy special pieces on the spot. We want everyone to feel comfortable here and enjoy their visit. Our bar also plays a major role in this: it should also be a meeting place for socialising," explains Ferdinand Eppli.

"Our range is so large and diverse - many people don't even realise that. A customer who was previously mainly interested in jewellery can now also discover our range of luxury handbags, designer fashion, exquisite wines or selected works of art. This range of goods is unique in Stuttgart - and probably also in Germany," continues Eppli.
Eppli engaged the renowned Stuttgart-based architectural firm Blocher Partners to plan and realise the conversion.
