The Swiss watch manufacturer and one of the most legendary clubs in European football are ready for a new chapter in their partnership.

Breitling x FC Bayern: one watch per year

To mark the 125th anniversary of the club, Breitling and the 34-time German champions are jointly launching this timepiece, which is limited to 125 pieces.

The 41-millimetre chronograph is powered by Breitling's manufacture calibre B01 and offers COSC-certified precision and a power reserve of around 70 hours.

Inspired by the white and blue diamonds that adorn the FC Bayern Munich crest, the silver dial honours the deeply rooted identity and tradition of the region - its subtle diamond effect is created by the brushed and matt surface.

The love for the club can also be found in the details: the chronograph hand bears the characteristic red of the football club, while the FC Bayern anniversary lettering is enthroned above 6 o'clock.

The transparent case back, which allows a clear view of the movement, features the 125th anniversary emblem of FC Bayern. The outer ring of the case back is engraved with "125 years of FC Bayern Munich" and "One of 125".

The sub-dials in the form of super-circles (not quite square, not quite round) at 9 and 3 o'clock record the chronograph's running seconds and minutes and, like the tachymeter scale, are accentuated by a vibrant wine red colour.

The mushroom-shaped pushers typical of the 'Top Time' allow smooth control of the chronograph functions and, together with the perforated calfskin strap, round off the retro look of the "Top Time B01 125 Years FC Bayern München Limited Edition".

The anniversary edition will be available exclusively in the Breitling boutiques in Munich, Berlin Kurfürstendamm & Mitte, Düsseldorf and on request in other Breitling boutiques in Germany as well as from selected partners in Munich.
