The fall auction season combines classic collector’s items with more recent developments in brand and art history: In November, the Dorotheum will offer approximately 150 pieces of jewelry and 160 watches. Gerald Charles will also be represented at Phillips and Christie’s with three different Maestro models.

Gerald Charles is making his mark on the auction season with three very different watches:

The Maestro GC39 25th Anniversary, featuring a lapis lazuli dial and jumping hour, is Lot 48 in the Phillips Watches Online New York Sessions, taking place October 1–9. This anniversary edition, limited to 100 pieces, is largely sold out through regular channels.

On November 9, a Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin “Tiger’s Eye” will be auctioned at Christie’s Rare Watches in Geneva to benefit the ELA organization. The model was originally unveiled to celebrate the anniversary of Ahmed Seddiqi and Gerald Charles.

The third highlight will take place on December 5 with the Maestro GC39 Mitoraj Pièce Unique at TimeForArt in New York. In collaboration with Atelier Mitoraj and Galleria d’Arte Contini, Gerald Charles is bringing Igor Mitoraj’s “Luci di Nara” to life on the watch face. Proceeds from the charity auction will support the Swiss Institute.
